Broken Arrow, Okla. (July 9, 2008) – Nationally renowned Family Circle Magazine has named Broken Arrow one of the top 10 cities in America in which to raise a family.
The article, featured in the new August 2008 issue, highlights cities and towns that offer quality educational and workforce opportunities, low crime rates and affordable housing.
Thousands of cities from across the nation were selected for consideration by a research firm with representatives from the finalist cities interviewed prior to a decision.
“This is truly a terrific honor,” says BA Mayor Wade McCaleb. “Broken Arrow is in the national spotlight once again and this is a tribute to our great citizens and our beloved city.”
Broken Arrow has received prestigious recognition in the last few years from Money Magazine, Business Week Magazine and was recently named the 22nd safest city in the nation by CQ Press.
