When I was growing up, I always looked forward to the NBC television network production of Peter Pan, starring Mary Martin as Peter. It has since been very limited in its showing and the DVD is long out of print and expensive to own. Thanks to the contributors at YouTube, I am able to watch it at anytime.
In this scene, Peter teaches Wendy, Michael, and John how to fly. I can remember as a kid really believing that they were flying, and Mary Martin was definitely the best in playing the part of Peter. She was truly believable and her singing was fabulous!
