We did our usual routine of spliting up inside of the casino and playing different slot machines, keeping in touch with each another via our cell phones. (We like to call one another, knowing where we both stand "moneywise", to be able to decide if it's time to "walk", keeping up with our winnings and staying ahead of what amount of money we came into the casino with.)
Well....we'd only been in the casino for about twenty minutes, when Tj calls me on my cell phone and tells me that he hit a jackpot for $1920.00 on a two dollar "Freedom Reels" slot machine. (That Freedom Reels slot machine was actually a favorite machine of mine, that I usually like to play.) He said, "Guess what...I jackpotted YOUR machine." I was really glad that he had done that, because I hadn't been doing all that well on the machine that I was playing.
So while Tj was waiting to be paid on that jackpot....he then decides to walk over, a couple of slot machines away from the Freedom Reels slot machine, to a "Star Spangled Sevens" slot machine and feeds IT some cash. All this time, I'm in another room playing a slot machine that I have managed to finally get up to $540.00. Not TOO bad, I thought.
Well...my phone rings again...about ten minutes after the first call...and I hear Tj say, "I did it!" I answered, "What did you do?" He then tells me that he hit the jackpot on the Star Spangled Sevens slot machine for $10,000.00 dollars!!
"NO WAY!!!" "YOU'RE KIDDING ME!!"
I quickly cashed out of the machine that I had been playing....and worked my way out into the casino towards him. And there he was..."sure nuf" standing next to the Star Spangled Sevens slot machine, with all the bells, lights, and whistles going off and the big glowing message on the machine saying, "Congratualtions...You've just won $10,000.00!"
Needless to say....not only were we glad to get back to "Green Country".....we were definately happy to have made the decision to stop at the Creek Nation Casino.
On previous trips to the casino, we had seen other people win the ten thousand dollar jackpot, but we never thought that it would happen to us. Lady Luck was definately on our side yesterday. Tj's side, anyway!

Oh....and now Tj has a new screensaver picture on his cell phone. I bet you can guess what the message says!
