I enjoy watching everything from "Ghost Cams"...to live cams of "Times Square" in New York...to watching the live cam of the "Eiffel Tower" in Paris...to seeing the "Pyramids" of Giza, on the live cam in Egypt.
It's so much fun "visiting" all these places "live" in your own city...in your own house...in your own pajamas. Just to think that you're enjoying all of these places "right now"...live from your bedroom, still amazes me every time I visit them.
I'm always on the lookout for a good and interesting live cam to watch.
Every year on New Years eve, (at 5pm, our time)...I always like to watch the live "Eiffel Tower" cam in Paris France, just to watch the excitement when "their" clock turns to midnight. Since I have visited Paris and have been on the "Eiffel Tower", it makes it extra fun for me to watch and remember.
I recently found a new live cam. It's located in a small Japanese restaurant in the heart London England, of all places. You can sit and watch as people come into the restaurant to be seated...look over the menu...order their meal...and eat. Some people come alone, only to watch others or read the newspaper, as they sit by themselves enjoying their meal. Then there are other people who are together, as they too enjoy their evening, or day, eating out at the restaurant.
You can also look outside the window of the restaurant and see people walking by, some looking in through the window and others just passing by, caught in their own world. It's just fun to watch as life goes on for other people, miles and miles away.
Check it out and you'll see what I mean.
One funny thing that I've noticed about the people who frequent this restaurant is....no matter what time of day that I tune in and watch...it seems as though "most" of the people are wearing the color blue. And they're not really wearing different shades of blue either. They all seem to wear the same color...or should I say "colour" of blue. That's just one of the interesting things that I've noticed about this site.
Enjoy.....
(addendum)
I previously posted that this was a Chinese restaurant. My mistake....it's a Japanese restaurant. Hence the name...Tokyo Diner. I'll get it right....
By the way...You can turn off the sound that's transmitted from the restaurant. I've listened to it so much that I've notice that it's the same "taped" sounds of the same people talking every time....even when they're closed.
It's hard to understand what's being said anyway, although I think that it's English. I do know that there's someone there that is either laughing or they have the hic ups! I hear it every time I watch the cam.
